fog
Does anybody know how to reduce or stop swim goggles from fogging? I've tried several pairs and some products to clean and reduce fog without much
luck.

Hap, there are three ways to prevent fogging:
1. go to dive shop buy anti-fog liquid.
2. Cut a small potato in half and rub it on inside of mask.
3. The pro way, spit in mask and rub spit over the inside of the lens. Put on mask with out rinsing with water.

Mask Fogging
Hap
First, clean the lens with toothpaste to remove any skum from the manufacturing process or any grease or suntan lotion, clean until the lens is
squeeky clean, then apply a defog solution (available at dive stores) or make a bottle of your own, baby shampoo (no tears) 25% to 75% water works
great, I keep a little bottle in my mask box and apply it before each dive
My other life when not fixing pools is a PADI Scuba Instructor

Are talking about swim goggles or Diving Mask?
Swim goggles have plastic lens while Dive Masks have glass lens. Goggles are defogged with a different solution, you can purchase at most dive stores,
or swim stores.

All I could find was LDF fluid, Leak detection fluid used for gas pipe, it worked for a while but a trip to the dive shop seems a great idea!

the solution sold in dive shops is really, basically, liquid soap. the directions on the back of the sea drops bottle says dont apply to swim goggles.

am also padi instructor....and a 28yr. leak fixer,,, best bet= a gel type defog from dive shop. (cleaner/fogger combined.) when(and eventually it
will) not work it's time to rub quality dish detergent on entire mask inside and out,, skirting etc. let soak awhile and rinse and dry.
clarification... do not dive with googles and all dive masks are not glass lensed

sea drops are not to be used with swim goggles, at least that is what the bottle states.
