Thought Provoking Photos of 2011

The worst SVRS installation I've ever seen:
8 inch main drain reduced to 2 inches for the svrs
Found at a commercial pool in NY

The customer bought a new pole to replace the one he broke trying to dislodge the vacuum, it was vacuumed tight against the bottom, he didn't notice the worn brushes (he had made 20 holes where it had gotten stuck)

The customer modified the drain cover and taught his children how to dive down and plug or unplug the main so he could vacuum with full suction
He was upset at me for removing it and installing a new VGB cover while I was there for leak repairs
