Clear Peel & Stick Vinyl Pool Patch

Best New Product in 2011

Peel & Stick Vinyl Pool Patch

I used this all summer, excellent results, makes your patch look Invisible
Call Lance to get details on it.

Attached is a photo of a 1" patch on a small hole, it was a faded gray liner that could not be matched to any sample I had

I have been using the patch also, I like it so far. Really hard to see it once it's on there.

We like to put bright new bits of liner on holes, cuctomer then realises how faded the liner is and wants a new one, ;) looks like a great idea for when you fit a new liner and find a stone under with it fill, a small tap with a hammer and a clear patch, who will know ! :D:D

The precut patches are way too expensive for my operation. My guys often patch hundreds of holes daily. I bought some in the bulk roll form. It worked great but my punches will not cut through. Another problem I found was that the product was so transparent we would often end up finding the same holetwice. We couldn't even see the patch. We go to many customers year after year. I can only imagine how frustrating these patches will be in subsequent visits. I guess the same thing that makes them a great product is also their biggest disadvantage.

Yes the clear peel & stick is so clear you "see" the hole or rip through the patch. To prevent this you can put a dab of white or blue flexible sealer over the hole before applying the clear patch, this way the "hole" is covered and will not be visible through the patch. Most liner patterns have some blue or white in them, pick what blends in best. Yes the peel & stick cost more but it can save a lot of time and for me, time saved makes it worth the cost.
I have often given customers the choice of a regular patch or the transparent, they pick the transparent again and again.

This New Heavy Duty Peel & Stick material has been in use for 3 years, no it does not turn yellow, however it does get a hazy frosted look after a while.
