I am thinking of buying either the XLT 17 or XLT 30. What do you guys prefer. Is the 30 much better than the 17 or are ther comparable. I have been using simple geophones and I have been able to locate the leaks about 80% of the time. Is the electronic devices much better.

I have the older versions of the units... the 16 and the 20. I personally like the 16 as it is simpler to use. I also have a metrotech unit that works well and seems to have better filering than either of my two fisher units!
