Just worked on a system in Arizona. Pump ran at 90V... speed increased with sunrise. Didn't count photovoltaic panels but guess it was 8 or so. Ran as aux filter pump feeding glazed copper panels for spa heat at RV park. Seemed to work pretty good

I have seen info on DC power pool pumps that you can run direct from one or two PV panels. What I see on the web looks good but haven't found anyone that wasn't selling these to get a real opinion. Have any of you seen any installed and working?
