The Leakalyzer reporter program really is awesome to help interpret the numbers that the unit picks up in the field. We use ours on a laptop in the field and break it out when needed.

I'm not saying that you absolutely need it to do your work but there are many advantages that the reporter has over the handheld unit. Reading the graph is much easier and it has a higher and lower graph point capability. Sometimes on the handheld you will get something that looks like garbage but when you put it on the reporter it all become apparent.

There are 2 buttons that really help "best fit" and "progressive fit." This will add a line to show you a bit more about what the plotted points are doing.

To my knowledge you can't label the graph marks. It just shows Mark #1, Mark#2 and so on.

Does it make it easier to see trends? Can you smooth out the zig-zags (/\/\/\/\) ? Have you used the graph marking feature (pump on, pump off labeling, etc.) ? Do you download info to a laptop in the field or to a computer at home?
